Barbara R. Gaul (Retired)
Barbara has been with Duggan & Massey since 1979. She is a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Financial Planner, and a member of AICPA, GSCPA and IMA. Barbara specializes in retirement planning, tax planning and estate planning for individuals as well as corporations, partnerships, trusts and estates. Prior to joining Duggan & Massey, Barbara worked in Taxpayer Service with the Internal Revenue Service.
Barbara is a graduate of Kennesaw State University. She is a member of the Institute of Certified Financial Planners, the Financial Planning Association of Georgia, The Atlanta Tax Forum and The Atlanta Estate Planning Council.Outside the office, Barbara is an avid fan of the outdoors. She loves hiking, traveling, reading and golf, and is a member of the Atlanta Zoo, the Chattahoochee Nature Center, the Appalachian Trail Conference, Rails to Trails and the High Museum. Barbara is married and has 5 sons — 2 birth and 3 step — and 4 grandchildren, with the newest born in April, 2006.
Tripp Kay
A 1984 graduate of the University of Georgia with a BBA in accounting, Tripp began working at Duggan & Massey before graduation and hasn't looked back. His years of experience working with the unique needs of closely held businesses and their owners have earned Tripp the reputation of being a trusted business partner to many satisfied clients. Tripp helps his clients strategically plan for the growth and success of their businesses with the unique perspective of an expert in this area.
Tripp is a member of AICPA and GSCPA, as well as the Buckhead Optimist Club. He is on the Advisory Board for The Northside Athletes Foundation, the Board of Trustees at The Walker School, the Board of Directors for Axiom Staffing Group, and the Board of Directors of The Tommy Nobis Center Foundation.
Tripp is married with 3 children, and spends as much time with his family as he can. When he's not at work, he enjoys golf, snow skiing, camping, water sports, reading and running marathons. |

Danielle Lepley Lambert
Danielle has been in Public Accounting since she graduated from Georgia State University in 1987. She works closely with the firm’s professional and business clients, particularly in the medical and real estate fields. Danielle’s diverse talents and expertise helps her to provide for all the accounting needs of her clients.
She advises her business and individual clients on tax saving strategies and consults with them to help with building and preserving their wealth. Danielle is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, The Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants and Atlanta Tax Forum. Danielle enjoys spending time with her husband, 2 children and their dog. She also enjoys hiking, aerobic classes and traveling.
Michael W. Thompson
A partner since 1995, Michael has been in the Accounting and Tax Field his entire career. He received his B.S. in Accounting from Berry College where he played four years of collegiate tennis. Since joining Duggan & Massey in 1990, Michael has become a trusted business advisor to many privately held business owners in the areas of strategic planning, day-to-day management, tax and financial consulting. He has extensive experience in the real estate industry representing some of Atlanta’s premiere commercial and residential real estate developers, management companies and investors. Michael also has many successful experiences working out troubled and restructured debt arrangements for clients.
Michael is a director of the Buckhead Coalition and an active Berry alumnus, currently serving on the College’s Board of Visitors and Planned Giving Council. He also contributes many volunteer hours to coaching youth sports. Michael recently served as Board Chair of the Summit Counseling Center. He is also a member of The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and The Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants (Buckhead Chapter). Michael is married and has 3 children. He enjoys boating, golf, quail hunting and family vacations. He is also a member of Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church, where he serves on the Finance Committee.
